Maintenance
Electrochemical CO cells have a typical three-year life and must be gas-calibrated annually. Sounder beacons, relay outputs and the shut-off valve trip are functionally tested at the same visit.

Can I use battery CO alarms in a plant room?
No. Commercial spaces need a fixed, mains-powered system with fault monitoring and relay outputs for isolation and ventilation.
How long do CO sensors last?
Electrochemical cells typically last three years; the panel will raise a sensor fault when the head is end-of-life.
